"Shout for joy in the Lord, O you righteous! Praise befits the upright. Give thanks to the Lord with the lyre; make melody to him with the harp of ten strings! Sing to him a new song; play skillfully on the strings, with loud shouts." Psalm 33:1-3
From the earliest times, music has been one of the mediums of worship. The music ministry at Trinity seeks to be eclectic in style – from Baroque to Brooklyn Tabernacle – we seek excellence both in what we sing and how we sing it… considering the passion of our hearts, biblical faithfulness and the most beautiful music we can achieve.
Believing that the church is one – young, old, etc. and separations to cater to a specific taste in worship style send the wrong message, we attempt to combine the best of contemporary praise with the traditions of historic Christianity. Hence we use both a praise team to lead contemporary congregational singing and a choir to minister in a more traditional way.
